Game Coding

July 2-5, 2019
(4 days)
Ages 10 to 14
Cost: $160

There's a lot of buzz around kids learning to code at an early age. Learning to code is now a fundemental skill along side with math and reading. Opportunities in school to learn how to code are limited. Learning to code supports other learning in language and math. The basics of coding is best learned early in life.

Participants in Learning to Code will learn the basics of coding using Python as they work on their own version of "Pacman." Creativity will be encouraged through additional game features not normally seen in "Pacman" builds. As participants gain confidence, more features may be introduced.

Participants registering in this camp may choose to bring in their own PC or Mac laptop. The software will be loaded onto the system and retained after the camp is finished.
